This is a garden favourite! Gypsophila is a simple white flower surrounded by lacy, ferny foliage.
It can grow to anywhere between 40 and 80cm in height and is suited to both beds and balcony pots. It is also popular as a cut flower, as well as for drying.
Some decorative plants can cause illness if ingested or cause irritation to the skin. This includes Gypsophila.
How to grow:
Sow from March to June in a sunny location in good garden soil. Lightly cover and keep well watered. Thin to 20 – 30cm apart.

May to September.
