Delivery Information

DELIVERY
In most cases, goods will be dispatched within 1 week of receipt of order. However, during busy periods, deliveries may take longer and we ask you to allow 10 working days for delivery. Potatoes are an exception, the sending framework for this product is complicated and we ask you to be patient. We will get them to you in plenty of time for chitting and planting. We may send part orders or hold orders back until complete depending on circumstances. You should receive an e mail to let you know that your order is being sent. STANDARD CARRIAGE
All UK orders under £30.00 to UK addresses will incur postage and packing of £3.00 or £3.60 if VAT is applicable. This is in accordance with current VAT legislation.
Sundry items and flower seeds are all subject to VAT at standard rate and all orders , where postage is applicable will attract the additional standard rate percentage.
If you want to you can always remove your standard rate items at the checkout.

Parcels over 10kg in weight or with a value of over £250 to UK outer zones and the Channel Islands will attract a surcharge. Details will appear at the checkout. Click here for UK Outer Zone Postage Table.

POTATO CARRIAGE

An additional carriage will be charged for the total weight of any seed potatoes within an order.

For most UK addresses excluding Highlands and Islands, I-O-Man and I-O Wight the carriage charge is as follows.

For orders up to 7 Kg in weight £5.55
For orders up to 24 Kg in weight £8.95
Plus £5.75 for each additional 24 Kg or part thereof.

FRUIT TREE CARRIAGE

A carriage charge will be incurred on fruit tree orders. This is a one set rate regardless of the number of trees ordered. Details will appear at the checkout and on the relevant pages.

Tamar Organics reserves the right to determine means of delivery. Should urgent delivery be requested then the difference between normal and urgent delivery cost will also be chargeable to the purchaser’s account.
