Welcome to the new Tamar Organics website updated for the 2010 season. Click on the catalogue bar above to browse and shop online.

   This year we are offering only organic seeds online. In previous seasons we have included some conventional favourites but as the organic availablity gets better and better we have made this change. They are still available in our printed catalogue and can be added to your order if required. All our plant material, artichokes, onions and potatoes are 100% organic. One variety of autumn garlic this year is conversion the rest are fully organic. We will not be offering any spring garlic until the quality improves so get your garlic this October and Novemeber. None of the seed we offer is GM or treated.

So, what's new this season? We have a new broad bean called Elenora which is an express type, a new winter little gem type lettuce called Orsay and a new carrotfly resistant carrot called Resistafly! We have yet to trial a new tomato so if you try it we can compare notes. It's called Koralik, an outside bush cherry tomato with blight tollerance. We have new potato varieties and welcome returns and for the first time we are offering willow cuttings for basket making and living sculptures.
Be sure to check out the Bargain Basement in the Miscellaneous section which is full of useful gardening sundries at knock down prices and the Crop Protection section for fabric off-cuts. Some items can only be sent with orders over 2kg in weight so please check when ordering.

Tamar Organics started as a small organic market garden in 1994 and our catalogue began alongside as we searched for organic composts, plant feeds and seeds. This is our 17th catalogue.
